* Rabbits are sold on a first money basis. No money = no rabbit!
I have "reserved" rabbits and lost sales, due to the person it was "reserved" for backing out of the sale.
Therefore, all rabbits are sold on a first paid non-refundable deposit basis ONLY! If you want a certain rabbit, pay the non-refundable deposit and the rabbit will be held for you.
* A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before any animal(s) will be held for you (up to 7 days).
Rabbits can not be held for extended periods of time due to limited cage space (unless we have a written agreement and they have been paid for in full).
* If the animal(s) does not get picked up at the agreed upon time, the 50% non-refundable deposit will be forfeited.
If more time for pick up is needed than was originally agreed upon, then a housing fee ($5/week) will be charged up front to continue to hold the animal(s).
* Payment in full is expected before the animal(s) can go to their new home.
Cash is preferred for final payments at time of pick up.
PayPal or money orders are available for non-refundable deposits and/or full payments, but the buyer will pay the 4% PayPal fee (fee = 4% of full price of rabbits) in addition to the price of the rabbit.
* No rabbit is sold or reserved younger then 8 weeks (2 months) old.
Most of the time I will not sell a rabbit until they are 12 weeks (3 months) old due to wanting to see how they develop.
Anyone interested in buying an Angora must show they know how to properly groom an angora before the sale is finalized.
ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!
* All babies have been handled daily, however they will have their own unique personalities.
Be sure when choosing a rabbit that it has the personality you are looking for.
* I do raise show quality rabbits, but I sometimes may have "non-show quality" or "brood quality" rabbits available.
Please keep in mind, a rabbit sold as "non-show quality" will be sold WITHOUT a pedigree.
All rabbits' prices are based on my opinion of their quality and are subject to change at any time due to the development of the animal.
* I do not and can not guarantee that a rabbit will do well at shows.
I will give my honest opinion and assist in every way possible to provide the best possible rabbit to suit your purpose. If I am unable to provide you with a rabbit you will be happy with, I can refer you to other breeders.
* An animal’s non-refundable deposit/purchase price will not be refunded unless something unforeseen happens while the animal is still in my care.
Should the rabbit become ill after a non-refundable deposit is paid, a rabbit of equal value may be substituted.
* Once the animal leaves my barn, their responsibility becomes their new owner’s. I will not be held responsible for anything which happens to an animal after it is sold.
Every precaution will be taken to ensure that the animal will be healthy before they leave my barn.
Please read up on proper care for your new rabbit before buying it to ensure that you can care for your new pet properly. If you have any questions about rabbit care, feel free to contact me.
* I reserve the right to cancel any sale at any time or refuse a sale to anyone I choose.
* Transportation of the rabbit is sole responsibility of the buyer.
I do not ship animals at this time.
I will be happy to transport the rabbit(s) to any rabbit show I may be attending, but an entry fee for the show and/or a fee for transportation may be added to each rabbit's price.
* Local Pick Up - I do not sell animals from my barn, but I will be happy to meet you locally.
NOTE: The rabbitry is considered a "closed" rabbitry in order to ensure the rabbits maintain good health and do not pick up any diseases from people coming and going. This means, NO you cannot come to the barn to see the rabbits. I apologize for the extreme caution, but hope that you understand and respect our policy. Doing this allows us to ensure you are receiving the healthiest, best quality rabbits possible and no illnesses or diseases are spread. We have healthy rabbits and intend to keep them this way.
* When picking up your animal(s), please bring an appropriate carrier to put them in.
They must have water available at all times, even if their ride to their new home is a short one.
A trunk of a car or an open bed of a truck without cover is not acceptable means to transport your animal(s).
Please be sure that you put the animal(s) through as little stress as possible when taking your new pet home.
*If you are no longer able to keep the rabbit you bought from me, please contact me first.
Please provide the cage and accessories for the rabbit if you are no longer able to keep them. This helps me to be able to care for them while I am locating a new home for them.
Most times I am able to either take the rabbit back or help you find a good home for them.
NEVER turn a rabbit loose in the wild, they do not have the survival skills needed to survive in the wild.
***Being a smaller rabbitry, older breeding/show animals are often sold when I am keeping some of their offspring.***
This does not mean they are lesser quality stock, but they have served their purpose in my rabbitry and they can now help someone else improve their herd.
~ HOLD or PENDING - 50% non-refundable deposit has been received, details are being arranged.
~ SOLD - Has been paid in full and/or has left my barn.
Please put the name of the rabbit or breed you are interested in the subject line.
