The English Angora is considered a 4 class breed (Senior Buck, Senior Doe, Junior Buck, Junior Doe).
An English Angora will not be show quality if it has a complete absence of bangs, side trimmings, ear fringes or tassels; normal fur on its feet; unmatched toenails on the same foot or the corresponding foot; wool less than two inches; wool that is excessively course; any unrecognized color or any eye color other than what is allowed; or any ARBA general all-breed disqualifications as listed in the ARBA Standard of Perfection.
In order to be able to be shown at an ARBA sanctioned show, an English Angora which is over 6 months of age must weigh more than 5 pounds, but not more than 7 pounds (bucks) or 7 1/2 pounds (does). Most judges want them to be around 6 1/2 pounds. If the English Angora is under 6 months old they must weigh more than 2 3/4 pounds, yet not over 5 1/2 pounds (bucks) or 6 pounds (does).
